This unique artistic guzheng features a body crafted from carefully selected Japanese paulownia wood aged sixty years or more, prized for its naturally occurring round grains and distinctive knots.
Japanese paulownia, grown in temperate zones, develops at a slower rate compared to paulownia trees in general Southeast Asia. This slower growth results in finer growth rings, which impart the guzheng with sound layers that are distinct, pure, and rounded—an unparalleled advantage for every exquisite guzheng.
The wood grain of paulownia breathes life into each dazzling guzheng, with growth rings that chronicle the tree’s cyclical development. As the tree ages, its texture becomes increasingly unique, endowing every guzheng with a singular character and soul.
Utilizing sixty-year-grade Japanese temperate zone paulownia wood for the guzheng body is an exceptionally rare and precious choice—an extraordinary treasure seldom encountered. The spirit inherent in the wood envelops the instrument, while the exceptional sound quality and aesthetic beauty of this grade of guzheng create an immersive sonic experience, inviting listeners to connect deeply with the soul of the zheng’s sound.
The body of the zheng uses a pure white color as the base tone, adorned with hand-crafted Nishijin fabric made with gold and silver threads.
Is designed to align with the concept of "Starry TrueLove" Feelings, and the piano surface decoration is made with diamond inlays, making it highly collectible.
The perfect fusion of diamonds and pure white finishes,
showcasing a visually luxurious texture.
The 3D joint manufacturing method makes the instrument body more three-dimensional and distinctive, but the entire production process is also quite meticulous. During production, it requires repeated manual grinding to achieve smoothness and brightness, and care must be taken to ensure there are no gaps in the joints to avoid affecting the sound transmission of the zither. The highest realm of this craftsmanship seeks to achieve beauty in form and spirit while emphasizing trace-less perfection, which is also one of the trademarks of the dazzling zither, making its beauty difficult to replicate.
The front bridge is carved out of an integral piece of Indian red sandalwood. Its flawless arc is the result of numerous adjustments by the craftsman such that the tenon fits perfectly on the zheng body to facilitate optimal sound projection.
The zheng head interior features the art of yosegi-zaiku, a type of traditional marquetry originated in Hakone, Japan. Natural timbers of different colors and textures are cut into thin plates of wood, and then inlaid into the inner surface of the zheng head to create mosaics of geometrical design patterns. Yosegi-zaiku gained popularity in Hakone during the culturally rich Edo era, and has been designated as the official traditional Japanese woodcraft by the authorities since 1984. Regrettably, there are only a handful of yosegi-zaiku masters nowadays, which has led to artpieces of the craft becoming ever more precious.
XuanGuang Bridge III (Red Rosewood)
Custom-made diamond-inlaid third generation glimmering column with a xuanguang bridge, the zheng bridge is made from Lao red rosewood, crafted by the zheng bridge maker based on the body shape of the zheng, manually polished. The zither bridge made from old red rosewood is handcrafted with fine details, following the wood grain seamlessly, greatly enhancing the stability and uniformity of the zheng bridge, resulting in a refined and layered sound progression.
The zheng bridge is highly durable, resisting wear through repeated playing, enhancing the stability of the zheng sound, and preventing the bridge from shifting during play.
Such meticulous selection and complex manufacturing processes mean that the production cost of the zheng bridge is several times higher than that of ordinary zither bridges. However, in pursuit of elevating the zither sound, we are never stingy and spare no expense.
The Zheng's sound dances on stage, shimmering like diamonds, a dialogue of starry light and melody, presenting a magnificent light and shadow concerto
The entire dazzling light column is made with diamond inlays.
The body of the zheng uses a pure white color as the base tone, adorned with hand-crafted Nishijin fabric made with gold and silver threads.
In the flow of light, diamonds refract a dreamlike halo, beautifully complementing the pure white background of the decoration.
Creating a stunning feast of light and shadow, presenting a visual experience of art-worthy quality.
Its exquisite craftsmanship and delicate works featuring flowing cherry blossom patterns are particularly unique, with the flowing water patterns and blooming cherry blossoms merging into each other, resembling a tranquil and poetic painting. Golden and silver details enhance the splendor and elegance, while soft azure is integrated to balance a fresh and gentle atmosphere.
The Zheng cover adopts the unique hanging-shaped design of dazzling light, and has made new changes to the original design. The angle of the zheng cover is increased to the zither cover's suspension angle to the zheng body and the opening of the zheng cover, which has made a significant leap in the sound and use of the zheng.
The string hole material is made of 18K platinum, durable and not easy to fade.
Carving three-layer triangular engraving takes triple as much time than single-layer triangular engraving because of the ultimate precision it demands. Even a tiny mistake could lead to a complete redo of the instrument from scratch. As the interior of the zheng body is a curved surface instead of a flat one, the craftsman needs to take into consideration the contour of the body as well as the way sound is transmitted during playing. Three-layer engraving allows more surface area of the interior to come into contact with the atmosphere, thereby adding depth to the sound layers with aftertones that are more dramatic and compelling.
The sound hole on the backboard panel is also cloaked with red sandalwood to ensure that the sound comes across as solid and well rounded, rather than diffused and scattered.
Under the starry sky, diamond as a witness, conveying feelings through music.
Paying tribute to love with art, engraving true feelings with brilliance.
